Islamabad, March 13, 2026: India, frustrated by the resilience and patience shown by Kashmiris in their quest for their inalienable right to self-determination despite what it calls state repression, is now subjecting them to severe retaliatory measures, the All Parties Freedom Conference said.
According to the Kashmir Media Service, the spokesman of the All Parties Freedom Conference, Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said: India It is an occupying power and that Kashmir is not an integral part of India but an internationally recognized dispute.
He stated that the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir would never allow the RSS-backed BJP regime to impose what he described as the Hindutva agenda in the region.
He added that despite the killing, torture, arbitrary arrests, demolition of property, termination of Kashmiri employees and constant harassment, the day when India will be forced to leave Jammu and Kashmir is not far away due to the steadfast and uncompromising stance of the Kashmiri people.
Lawyer Abdul Rashid Minhas said that India has turned the occupied territories into one of the most armed regions in the world, with more than a million soldiers deployed across the region. He claimed that the forces are oppressing people and violating their basic rights.
The APHC spokesperson said that apart from the use of force, attempts are also being made to undermine the identity, culture and resources of Kashmiris. He claimed that since August 5, 2019, the BJP-led government has intensified measures to change the situation in the region, but Kashmiris continue to show resilience, determination and resilience.
He said that the people of Kashmir remain steadfast in their demand for freedom and that their resistance has frustrated India. The conference also appealed to the United Nations and international human rights organizations to play their role in resolving the Kashmir conflict.
