Rescue officials said 18-year-old Ali Hassan, son of Imtiaz Ahmed and resident of Manjul, died on the spot after sustaining serious injuries in the collision.
Another young man, Ali Reza, son of Irisat Ali, also 18 years old, was seriously injured in the accident.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene, and the body and the injured were transferred to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital after providing first aid.
The incident is being investigated further.
