Sialkot (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer Dost Muhammad on Saturday took action after a video showing a citizen being tortured went viral on social media within the jurisdiction of Sadr Basur Police Station.
According to a police statement, citizen Muhammad Owais was on his way when the accused Hammad intercepted him.
The suspects allegedly took him to their monastery at gunpoint and brutally tortured him.
The accused then uploaded a video of the incident on social media.
Based on the directives of the Police Directorate, the police arrested the main accused, Hammad, and registered a case against him, while investigations continue.
