Chiniot (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th March, 2026) On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a special medical camp was held at the nursing home in Chiniot on Thursday, organized by the District Health Authority to provide quality healthcare services to the elderly. This initiative is in line with the Prime Minister’s “Health for All” vision, which aims to ensure access to medical care for vulnerable groups of the population.
The camp was attended by Dr. Najaf Pasha and Dr. Hafez Huzaifa Akhlaq, who conducted comprehensive examinations of all residents, including men, women and children. Modern medical equipment was used to accurately evaluate health conditions, and diagnosis was provided on site.
After conducting the examinations, medications were prescribed and immediately distributed to the residents to ensure immediate treatment. The camp focused on general and specialized health care needs, including eye care, to improve overall health among older adults.
The nursing home administration expressed its appreciation for the proactive efforts made by Deputy Commissioner Aisha Radwan, stressing its commitment to implementing the Prime Minister’s health programme. Officials stressed that such initiatives reinforce the government’s commitment to providing quality health care available to all citizens, especially the elderly and vulnerable groups.
