Burwala (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 25 Mar, 2026) A man was shot dead by unidentified assailants in a shooting incident that allegedly stemmed from an old enmity within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station.
According to police sources, the incident took place in Chak 435 EB Dogran Wala area, where the victim, identified as Waris Dogar, was traveling on a motorcycle when his rivals targeted him.
The attackers opened fire, killing him instantly, before fleeing.
The body was transferred to a nearby hospital for medical examinations.
Police also revealed that the deceased was recently released on bail in an attempt to murder case before Eid.
Police sources added that efforts are underway to track down and arrest the suspects involved in the incident.
