LAHORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 8th Apr, 2026) Registration for the April Attractive Vehicle Number Plates Auction is now open on the e-auction mobile app and web portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Punjab Tax and Excise Department.
Citizens can easily register online until April 30 to participate in the bidding process and secure their favorite car numbers from the comfort of their homes. The online auction platform provides number plates for motorcycles, cars and commercial vehicles. Details of successful bidders will also be made available on the app, ensuring complete transparency.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousef said that the initiative aims to provide citizens with modern, reliable and easy-to-use digital services, and enable them to access government facilities easily. He also added that the introduction of digital platforms has greatly enhanced transparency while saving time and resources.
The platform not only provides citizens the opportunity to obtain personalized vehicle numbers, but also reflects the government’s commitment to its digital transformation vision that leverages technology to deliver efficient, transparent and accessible public services.
