Rawalpindi (Urdu Point Network, April 6, 2026) The district administration in Murree closed four hotels for not implementing mandatory safety measures, based on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi.
According to official sources, action has been taken against hotels and guesthouses that did not comply with the safety SOPs issued to ensure the protection of tourists.
The sealed properties include Move and Pick Hotel, Hamdan Hotel, Woodberry Hotel and AM Guest House. Hotel owners were earlier instructed to implement safety measures and were also sensitized in this regard, but the violations continued, officials said.
Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi said that no one will be allowed to put human lives at risk, adding that strict implementation of safety standard operating procedures is essential to ensure the safety of tourists.
