Karachi (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – April 6, 2026) Karachi The administration’s campaign against footpaths, roadside encroachments and illegal parking, including the sale of unsafe LPG in violation of the Standard Operating Procedures issued by the Commissioner, continued.

Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi chaired a meeting with deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners to review the campaign.

The deputy commissioners briefed the commissioner on the action taken against encroachments and illegal parking including sale of unsafe LPG, saying most of the encroachments identified during the commissioner’s paid visit on Saturday have been removed.

They were also briefed on the measures taken against those selling unsafe LPG. The commissioner was informed that 12 people were responsible for illegal parking of auto-rickshaws along the road a job Road registered on footpaths and on its median including those found selling unsafe LPG.

The governor directed the deputy commissioners to take necessary action against those responsible for the encroachments.
