Peshawar, April 6, 2026 – In two separate shooting incidents in Bannu district, unidentified armed assailants martyred three police personnel, sparking panic and fear in the area on Monday.
according to Bano Police The first incident took place in Kenger Jan Bahadur area of Mandan, where a police official named Sher Muhammad Khan was shot dead.
Police said he was on his way to work when he was targeted by unknown assailants.
Immediately after the accident occurred, the area was cordoned off, and the body was transported to a nearby hospital. A search operation was launched to arrest the attackers.
In another incident, gunmen opened fire on the authority’s office in Paka Khel, killing policeman Rafiullah and security guard Gul Shah Noor.
Police said that a large force was sent to the scene following the attack, and the investigation is still ongoing.
