ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – April 5, 2026) The President of the Turkish Constitutional Court is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Islamabad. Pakistan On Monday, with the expectation of major developments in strengthening judicial cooperation between the supreme courts of the two countries.
According to a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Sunday, the Turkish delegation will sign a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation during its visit to the Supreme Court.
On this occasion, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, will host a luncheon in honor of the visiting dignitary on April 6.
Separately, the Chief Justice said Federalism Pakistani Constitutional Court Justice Aminuddin Khan will also host a lunch on April 7 for his Turkish counterpart, where discussions on bilateral judicial relations and exchange of experiences are expected.
During the visit, the President of the Turkish Constitutional Court will also visit the Federal Constitutional Court, where he will be informed about its procedures and constitutional powers.
The visit is seen as an important step towards strengthening judicial cooperation and strengthening institutional relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
