Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – April 4, 2026) Secured arrangements have been completed to secure 647 churches in the city on the occasion of Easter.
130 policewomen will also be joined to 3,076 officers and soldiers, while 526 individuals will be present in parks and other recreational places for security purposes.
As per DIG operations, a plan has also been made to monitor all churches with CCTV cameras. Separate security teams will be deployed in parking areas around churches.
He said that in addition to the Dolphins and Peru teams, 16 elite and special teams will participate in the leagues.
Divisional service providers, SDPOs and SHOs will personally monitor the security fencing, while instructions have also been issued to keep toll gates, metal detectors and checkpoints active.
