
Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, under Section 144 (6) of the Criminal Procedure Code, announced the premises of examination centers during the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations from April 7 to May 2, 2026.
Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3 April 2026) Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi, under Section 144 (6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, announced the premises of examination centers during the secondary stage. school Annual Certificate (SSC) examinations from April 7 to May 2, 2026, as restricted areas for general public except candidates holding a valid admit card as well as staff on duty and any kind of gathering within a 200 yard radius of the examination centers including operation of photocopiers is prohibited.
The notification said that necessary steps have been taken to conduct the SSC examination in a smooth, transparent, fair and peaceful manner and to maintain the sanctity of the examination venues during the examination.

The Karachi Commissioner, in exercise of his powers under Section 144 (6) of the Code of Criminal Procedure delegated by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Sindh vide a notification issued on May 21, 2020, also prohibited display of arms and use of mobile phones or other electronic devices to adopt any unfair means during examination days/hours for a period effective from April 7 to May 2, with immediate effect.
Station House Officers (SHOs) of the police stations concerned, either on their own initiative or on the basis of a complaint from the Superintendent of Examination Centres, are permitted to register complaints in writing under Section 188 PPC for any violation of Section 144 Cr.PC.
