Local courts in Rawalpindi issued death sentences to two convicts and life imprisonment to another in three separate murder cases, in addition to fines and compensation to the families of the victims.

In one case, a convict was sentenced to life imprisonment for a 2023 murder in Clar Sedan, along with five years’ imprisonment for attempted murder and fines. The court also ordered payment of Rs. 1.474 million Arsh and Rs. 110,000 guarantee.
In another case, a man was sentenced to death for killing his father-in-law in Damial, along with a sum of Rs. 500,000.0 compensation.
Similarly, another accused was sentenced to death for the murder of a woman in Naseerabad, along with Rs 1,000. 400,000.0 compensation and seven years imprisonment for destroying evidence.
