According to Punjab education Management sources say the process of linking teachers to the Safe City system is underway quickly, while panic buttons are also being installed in their schools mobile Telephones so that immediate assistance can be obtained in any emergency.
According to sources, the joint action plan of Willis, Safe City and the Ministry of Interior is being implemented quickly.
To date, more than 182,000 teachers, including Lahorehave benefited from this facility, while the goal has been set to connect more than 300,000 teachers across the province to the Safe City network.
Officials say that in the next few months, all teachers will be made part of this modern security system. Besides, CCTV cameras in Class A schools have also been linked to Safe City. Under the new system, security in educational institutions will become more effective and teachers will be able to get immediate help by simply pressing a button.
