Islamabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – April 2, 2026) Pakistan academy The Society of Literature (PAL) on Wednesday hosted the 79th informal session of its weekly literary series Chai, Baatain aur Kitaabain.
The session included a discussion on the novel The Janam Hour by Shafqat Najmi, with the participation of writers, poets, literature lovers, and individuals belonging to various fields of knowledge and arts.
This informal gathering provided a platform for engaging discussions over a cup of tea, focusing on literary, intellectual and social topics, as well as books. The spirit of dialogue and debate remained based on courtesy and respect for different points of view.
The session was moderated by honorary organizer Mounir Fayyad.
