Islamabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – April 1, 2026) Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider on Wednesday met Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) President Hafizuddin Ahmad Pir Bikram and Jatiya Sangsad Vice President Advocate Qaiser Kamal.
Deputy High Commissioner Mohammed Wasif was also present.
A press release stated that the High Commissioner offered his condolences to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on the death of his wife.
The two sides exchanged views on the current global crisis and various aspects of bilateral relations.
They stressed the importance of developing parliamentary ties and cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
