Sargodha (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 1 April, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chowdhury on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to further improve the effectiveness of sanitation operations and ensure timely disposal of waste across Sargodha.
According to an official spokesperson, the DC issued these instructions during a visit to various parts of the city to review sanitation arrangements under the Suthra Punjab campaign. He was accompanied by Rana Muhammad Abu Bakar, along with other officials.
During the visit, the DC inspected Chak No. 37 North Road, Mitha Lak Chowk and Mozamabad, assessing hygiene conditions, waste collection mechanisms and performance of field staff.
He stressed that ensuring a clean and healthy environment for citizens remains a top priority for the district administration, warning that negligence in sanitation duties will not be tolerated.
DC Hussain also directed the field staff to ensure regular attendance and instructed the officials to keep the machines running at full capacity to enhance service efficiency.
He stressed the need for consistent oversight and ordered that sanitation performance be monitored daily for improvement results Within the framework of the campaign.
