ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – April 1, 2026) The High Commission of Bangladesh in Islamabad on Tuesday hosted a diplomatic reception on the occasion of the 55th Independence Anniversary and National Day of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, in the presence of a large number of prominent figures, diplomats and members of civil society.
The reception and dinner were held at a local hotel where the Bangladesh High Commissioner visited Pakistan Mr. Iqbal Hussain Khan, along with the mission officials, warmly received the guests.
Federal Minister for National Affairs food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain attended the event as chief guest.
The ceremony was also attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Kundi.
