Lahore, (AFP – Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – April 1, 2026) A major golf tournament in which police players from all over the country participated was held in Lahore. Lahore Gymkhana Club, where the participants showed outstanding performance, a Punjab Police spokesman said on Tuesday.
Police golfers from Lahore, Karachi, Quetta Islamabad enthusiastically participated in the tournament organized under the patronage of DIG – Sulaiman Sultan Rana Foundation.
Players competed in professional and amateur categories, including current and retired police officers, and demonstrated excellent golf skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Sulaiman Sultan Rana said that promoting healthy activities like golf helps in enhancing the physical and mental capabilities of police officers.
He added that despite it being a tough sport, the police players performed commendably and also excelled in national and inter-provincial competitions.

The event was attended by senior police officers, including retired DGPs, DGPs and serving officers, while male and female golfers from different regions also participated.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation, shields and prizes were distributed to the outstanding students.
