Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 31 March 2026) Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar convened a meeting of leading national centers on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and robotics.
During the meeting, the research activities and operational matters of the centers established by the Supreme Elections Committee were discussed in detail.
The HEC Chairman urged the directors and project managers of the centers to effectively showcase their projects and research products, highlight their initiatives taken for public benefit, demonstrate the skills being imparted to students and the wider public, and present their global partnership initiatives.
He also encouraged the centers to begin cooperation with higher authorities education Institutions located in remote areas to ensure mutual benefits for both institutions and centers, while enabling the influence of government funding.
The two sides agreed to provide their own digital and social media platforms to support the dissemination of the centers’ achievements and success stories.
