Larkana (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30th Mar, 2026) On strict directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Jacobabad, the Abad police carried out a successful operation on Monday, foiling a drug smuggling attempt worth millions of rupees.
During the operation, the police found a large amount of drugs, about 110 kilograms of Chara. Two suspects involved in smuggling managed to flee the scene and abandon their car.
According to police officials, the operation was carried out by Abad police station house officer, Sub-Inspector Sikandar Ali Chandio, along with his team.
Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted a Land Cruiser (registration number QBA-2159) during a routine patrol near Ashar Brohi village.
After being spotted by police, the suspects fled, leaving the car behind. The police impounded the car and took it to the police station.
A case has been registered under the Narcotics Act and further legal action is being taken.
