An elderly man was killed when the roof of his house collapsed after rain in Khushab

Sargodha (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 30 March 2026) A man died after the roof of a mud-built verandah collapsed after heavy rains in Khushab, rescue officials said on Monday.

District emergency officer Ali Hussein said that the rescue control room received a call at 6:18 a.m. to report the accident in Hafiz Diwan locality.

The victim, Owais (70 years old), was trapped under the rubble.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and recovered the body, which was later handed over to its family.

Officials added that two goats also died after being buried under the collapsed structure.
