ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 30 Mar, 2026) Prime Minister’s Youth Program Head Rana Mashhad Ahmad Khan on Monday chaired a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office to launch the nationwide ‘Walk Pakistan’ initiative, which aims to engage youth across the country through a 14 to 18-day cross-country walk from… Lahore To Islamabad to promote national unity, cultural integration and healthy lifestyles.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from the governmental, semi-governmental and service sectors, with in-person and virtual participation to ensure broader participation.
Naveed Sherwani, Sabahat Rafiq and Kamran Lashari were appointed to a working group responsible for coordinating and implementing the programme.
Officials said the initiative will include participants from all governorates, including women and students Sports Personalities and media representatives, ensuring broad national participation.
The march will start from Minar Pakistan in Lahore and end in Islamabad, passing through major cities where cultural events and youth engagement activities will be held to highlight. PakistanIts diversity and heritage.
Registrations will be conducted through the Digital Youth Hub platform to simplify coordination, while comprehensive security and logistical arrangements will be put in place to ensure a smooth experience for participants.
The initiative is also expected to support local economies by promoting tourism, hospitality, transportation and small businesses along the route.
The officials described the ‘Pakistan March’ as a strategic effort to channel the energies of the youth into constructive activities and promote unity, peace and shared national spirit while showcasing the role of youth in the development of the country.
