Islamabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – March 29, 2026) Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Egypt Dr. Badr Abdel Ati confirmed PakistanIran’s strong commitment and determination to play a positive role in bringing Iran and the United States to the negotiating table to end hostilities in the region.
The Prime Minister was assisted by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, National Security Advisor Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, SAPM Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Minister Amna Baloch.
During their warm and friendly conversation, the Prime Minister conveyed his greetings and best wishes to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and recalled his recent conversations with the two leaders.
The Prime Minister shared Pakistani diplomatic outreach efforts with the visiting dignitaries and stressed the need for collective efforts to urgently put an end to the hostilities that have caused huge losses of life, economy and property not only in Iran, but in many sisterly Islamic countries.
The Foreign Ministers briefed the Prime Minister on their national views on the ongoing hostilities in the region middle east.
While appreciating Pakistan’s constructive role in peace efforts, they praised the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their leadership at this difficult time.
