Hyderabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – March 28, 2026) Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) has added another feeder to the list of 11 KV feeders that have been exempted from load shedding with the inclusion of Mehran 11 KV feeder in Qasimabad, Hyderabad.
CEO Faizullah Al Dhaheri announced the exemption at a ceremony organized at the Hyderabad Club, company spokesperson Sadiq Cooper said here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO informed that 41 feeders have been added to the list so far as efforts were on to boost this number by ensuring optimum recovery of electricity bills and taking strict action against power theft.
Al Dhaheri expressed his hope that by June 2026, up to 68 feeders in the Hesco region will be able to provide uninterrupted electricity to consumers.
The official spokesman reported that the Mehran feeder consists of 625 local connections and 97 commercial connections, including 578 consumers with 3 phase meters and 146 single-phase connections.
