Lahore, March 28, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered strict action against those involved in the Lady Willingdon Hospital video scandal.
Following its directive on Saturday, the Punjab government expanded disciplinary measures, suspending senior administrative and medical staff for allegedly recording and sharing a video of a patient undergoing surgery. The action was initiated after the incident came to light through the CM Complaints Cell.
The medical supervisor and head of the department were suspended from work, along with a female doctor, five postgraduate resident doctors, two nurses, and a hospital employee.
All individuals have been directed to report to their respective departments. Earlier, four female doctors were suspended from work due to the same issue.
