KARACHI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26 March, 2026) A delegation from SZABIST Zabtech met with Sindh Women Development Minister, Shahina Sher Ali, at her office on Thursday.
The delegation included Executive Director Waheeda Mahesar, Program Director Arshma Rameez, and Program Coordinator Naila Panhwer.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on women’s welfare, skills development and economic empowerment, and consensus was reached on collaborative initiatives to promote women’s development.
It was also agreed to launch a skills development program in Dar Al Aman through a partnership between SZABIST Zabtech and the Women’s Development Department.
Speaking during the meeting, Shahina Sher Ali stressed that cooperation between public and private institutions is vital for the advancement of women.
“Our goal is to empower deserving women by providing them with practical skills through the skills development programme, thus enabling them to achieve self-reliance,” she said.
She added that joint initiatives could create expanded opportunities for women’s economic empowerment.
The Minister also expressed her appreciation for the initiatives undertaken by SZABIST Zabtech for the welfare and development of women.
