According to PRO Railways Kaleem, as per initial reports, eight coaches derailed, five of which overturned while three derailed. The accident reportedly started from the fourth bus behind the engine.
Rescue teams from Rescue 1122 immediately arrived at the site and began relief operations. Minor injuries were reported, and first aid was provided to the injured passengers immediately.
No casualties have been reported so far.
