Rain, winds and hailstorms are expected in several parts of the country

Islamabad (Urdu Point/Pakistan Point News – March 25, 2026) Pakistan Today, Wednesday, the Meteorological Department expected thunderstorms and rain in various areas of the country, with the possibility of thunderstorms in some areas.

According to forecasts, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Kashmir and Islamabad are likely to receive rains accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, while scattered rains are expected in southern Punjab and upper Sindh.

The administration issued a warning of heavy rain and hailstorms accompanied by lightning in isolated places in Balochistan from tonight until March 25.

Similar weather conditions are expected in central and southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar and Kashmir regions on March 25 (evening/night) and March 26 (day).

It warned that snow and wind storms may damage standing crops in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, while heavy rains may lead to flash floods in central and southern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan during the forecast period.

In Islamabad, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms during the evening and night hours, with the possibility of hail falling in isolated places.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, widespread rainstorm/thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls and hailstorms are likely in areas including Peshawar, MardanSwaby, Kohat, Bano, Dera Ismail Khan, AbbottabadMansoura, SwatThe monastery and surrounding areas.

Punjab is expected to remain partly cloudy, with isolated rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms. Rawalpindimori, atok, chakwal, Lahore, Faisalabad,Sargodha, Multan, BahawalpurSialkot and other areas, especially during the evening and night.

In Sindh, partly cloudy weather will prevail, with possibility of rain and thunderstorms at a few places including Sukkur, Khairpur, Larkana, Dadu and Jacobabad.

Balochistan will also witness partly cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms QuettaKhuzdar, Chaman, Ghob, Gwadar and many other areas, with isolated heavy rains and hailstorms expected.

In Kashmir, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with rain and thunderstorms during the evening and night, along with chances of rainfall, while Gilgit-Baltistan is likely to remain dry and partly cloudy.

Over the past 24 hours, partly cloudy weather prevailed over most parts of the country, with isolated rainstorm reported in central and southwestern Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The highest rainfall recorded was 16 mm in Khuzdar.

The highest temperatures recorded in the country reached 38 degrees Celsius in Rohri and Khairpur, while several cities in Sindh including Socor and Larkana Recorded 37 c.
