The participants unanimously supported the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, appreciating their efforts to promote peace and prevent escalation amid ongoing tensions in the Muslim world.

The conference, which was chaired by Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, was attended by eminent scholars including Syed Ziaullah Shah Bukhari, Maulana Muhammad Ramzan Sialvi, Dr Asif Mir, Allama Zafar Ali, Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Allama Tahir Hassan, Hafiz Maqbool Ahmad, Maulana Zahid Mahmood Qasmi, among others.

In a unanimously adopted resolution, the scholars stated that the current civilian and military leadership of Pakistan played a major role in promoting unity within the Muslim Ummah and promoting peace efforts through dialogue and diplomacy. They said Pakistani diplomatic engagement helped calm tensions arising from the Iran-Israel-US conflict and related regional developments.

Participants praised the peace initiatives taken by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the military leadership, noting that Pakistan’s role is widely recognized at the international level.

The conference also condemned attempts by hostile elements to spread misinformation and create divisions within Pakistani society through propaganda, especially on social media. The scholars affirmed their commitment to confront these efforts and promote unity, harmony and stability within a framework
