Speaking during the ceremony, Vice Chancellor of Mehran University Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar said that it is very important for our future generations to be aware of the history of our nation.
He said that this day is our founding day and the historic day of the creation of Pakistan.
Dr. Anil Kumar said that we should pay tribute to the services rendered by our elders to the nation, but we should also remember the role of our generation in the development of the nation.
On this occasion, Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Khanji Harijan, Prof. Dr. Zeeshan Katri and Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Abbasi addressed the ceremony and said that National Day gives us the message of unity, hard work and patriotism.
