QUETTA (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22 March 2026) Balochistan Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir visited police lines on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr and paid tribute to the police martyrs.
He was accompanied by DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat, Commander BC Ashfaq Ahmed, DIG Headquarters Hassan Asad Alvi and SSP Operations Asif Khan.
The Inspector General visited the Police Martyrs Memorial, laid wreaths and praised their great sacrifices.
On the occasion of the Happy Eid, he met with the families of the martyrs of the Balochistan police and prayed for them to raise the ranks of the martyrs and offer forgiveness and patience to their families.
The families of the martyrs expressed their relief and thanked Police Inspector Muhammad Tahir for the administration’s full cooperation.
Inspector General Muhammad Tahir visited the homes of Superintendent of Police Mir Faisal, Martyr Inspector Zubair Ahmed and Martyr Deputy Inspector Maitha Khan and met their families and expressed his sincere sympathy and solidarity and said that the brave martyrs are the pride of the nation whose immortal sacrifices will be written in golden letters in history.
He said that the martyrs and invaders are our true heroes. Thanks to their eternal sacrifices, the people sleep peacefully today. He added that their sacrifices will always be remembered.
He visited CMH Hospital where he met with Ghazi police personnel who were injured in the line of duty and prayed for their speedy recovery.
The Inspector General met with police personnel on the occasion of his visit to the new Saryab and Sarab police stations, congratulated them and encouraged them for their excellent performance.
IG police mingled with citizens on this occasion.
He expressed love And confidence in the strong relationship that exists between ordinary citizens and the police regarding their protection.
