Sargodha (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21 March, 2026) Eid al-Fitr was celebrated across the region with religious fervor on Saturday, with thousands offering prayers at mosques, Eids and open spaces in towns and villages.
In their speeches, the scholars highlighted the importance of the festival and urged people to promote unity, tolerance and compassion in society.
Among those who celebrated Eid in the region were former Special Assistant to Prime Minister Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, Tasnim Ahmed Qureshi,Federalism Parliamentary Secretary Zulfikar Ali Bhatti and Provincial Communications Minister Sohaib Bharth.
Special prayers were also offered for peace, progress and prosperity in the country.
Meanwhile, the district administration, including Sargodha Police and Rescue 1122, has made elaborate security arrangements to ensure peaceful celebration of the festival.
