KARACHI (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 19th March, 2026) Following heavy rains, rescue and relief operations were successfully completed under the directions of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.
According to the bulletin issued by the commissioner’s office, the city administration completed the work of removing fallen trees due to rain with the help of KMC city administration and traffic police.
commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi said that the administration is on high alert to deal with the current rains.
All deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners remained in the field to work with relevant departments to repair the damage caused by the rains.
The commissioner personally monitored the restoration work. Deputy commissioners reported that all fallen trees in their areas have been removed.
The commissioner’s office also released a list of 51 trees removed from major roads including locations like Hijri Road, Rab Medical Centre, Javeri Optical, Ahmed Saya Road and others in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
