Islamabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – March 19, 2026) Federalism Law and Justice Minister Azzam Nazir Tarar said on Thursday that the federal government is committed to providing full support to the development projects of the Bar Association councils.
A delegation from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council met with Federal Minister of Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazir Tarar. The meeting discussed in detail the welfare of lawyers and various institutional issues related to the Bar Council.
The Federal Law Minister said on the occasion that Bar Councils are among the government’s priorities and strengthening them is indispensable for the effective establishment of the justice system.
He reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to providing full support to the development projects of union councils.
The meeting also discussed the issue of increasing government support for the Bar Council’s ongoing and proposed projects, resolving the problems facing lawyers, and providing facilities.
Appreciating the role of the legal community, the Federal Law Minister said that the role of Bar Councils in the justice system is very important and the government will continue to take practical steps to make this role more effective.
