The administration warned of the possibility of lightning and hailstorms occurring in isolated places during the forecast period.
It warned that storms and hail could damage standing crops in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, while landslides may occur in vulnerable areas in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.

In the last 24 hours, rain and thunderstorms were reported in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North and Central Balochistan, Punjab, Kashmir and Upper Sindh, while partly cloudy weather prevailed elsewhere.
The highest rainfall was recorded in Khuzdar (34 mm) and Parachinar (32 mm).
The highest maximum temperature recorded in the country was 38 degrees Celsius in Mithi and 34 degrees Celsius in Turbat, the Met office added.
