Islamabad (Urdu Point/Pakistan Point News – March 18, 2026) Official Spokesman of the Pakistani Government Pakistan Iranian People’s Party MP Shazia Marri expressed her deep sadness over the martyrdom of senior Iranian official Ali Larijani.
Al-Marri said in her statement that she was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Dr. Ali Larijani, describing the incident as a great loss not only for Iran, but for the entire region.
She expressed her heartfelt condolences and solidarity with Iran’s leadership, government and people during this difficult time.
Al-Marri strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and its policies that contribute to escalating tensions in the region.
She said that such actions constitute a flagrant violation of international laws and threaten to further destabilize the already fragile regional environment.
She stressed the need for peace, urging all parties to exercise restraint and show responsibility to ensure stability.
She said: “Peace and security in the region can only be achieved through patience, dialogue, and adherence to international norms.”
The PPP leader reiterated that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the Iranian people at this difficult moment.
It also called on the international community to play its role in calming tensions and ensuring justice through fair and balanced procedures.
Al-Marri directed his prayers for the soul of the deceased, asking God Almighty to cover him with the highest levels of Paradise and to inspire his family with patience and solace.
