Secretary Saleem Memon informed here on Tuesday that a team from the Hyderabad Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) inspected more than 164 public transport vehicles transporting people from different destinations in the country via Hyderabad.
He claimed that they also charged a total of Rs 722,000.

Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, who is also the province’s chief minister and information minister, issued strict directions to transport officials to ensure strict action against transporters who loot passengers returning to their hometowns to celebrate Eid, Memon said.
The minister warned carriers to stop stealing passengers if they do not want to face penalties.
