Lahore (Urdu Point Network, March 17, 2026) The Punjab Safe Cities Authority, in coordination with the police, arrested a suspect involved in a murder. mobile Phone snatching incident in Barakat Market using Safe City surveillance.
According to the spokesman, a motorcycle driver snatched a mobile phone from a citizen in the area, and as a result, the victim immediately reported the incident via the emergency helpline 15.
Upon receiving the alert, a virtual patrol officer tracked the suspect’s movement through Safe City cameras and shared his location with police teams, leading to his immediate arrest.
The accused is also wanted in multiple cases across the city, while further investigations are underway, the spokesman said.
