Sargodha (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17th March, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmad Raza Chowdhury on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the District Development Committee to evaluate development proposals from various departments for the upcoming Annual Development Program (ADP) 2026-27.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the plans submitted by the roads, local governments and irrigation departments.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers concerned to give priority to projects focusing on public interest and enhancing basic amenities in the area.
He stressed the need to ensure transparency and quality in planning development projects to ensure optimal use of public money and provide direct relief to the masses.
Hussain Ahmed Raza Chowdhury further stated that the proposed schemes should be in line with the regional requirements of Sargodha to promote sustainable growth.
The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineer of Highways (XEN), Deputy Director of Development, and other senior officials who briefed the President on the status and objectives of their departmental proposals.
