Leh (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 17 Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Asif Ali on Tuesday inaugurated the newly renovated Ladies Park, Fazal Jakhar Park and Jinnah Park, marking a milestone in improving public recreational facilities in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shabbir Ahmed, District Council Chairman Muhammad Faisal, Municipal Committee Chairman Shabana Rasheed, District Press Club President Mohsin Adeel, Haji Ahsan Adeel and other officials attended the opening ceremony.
During the visit, the head of the center inspected the upgraded facilities, including newly installed hammocks and grass lawns, and expressed his satisfaction with the improvements.
On this occasion, he said that the enhanced parks will provide citizens with a clean, healthy and enjoyable environment for recreation.
He urged the public to maintain cleanliness and dispose of waste properly in order to preserve the beauty of the gardens.
DC Asif also directed the concerned authorities to ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness so that citizens can continue to benefit from the improved facilities.
