Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16 March 2026) A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking removal Pakistan Name of former Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member, Ayesha Nazir, from Exit Control List (ECL).
The petition asked the court to declare the inclusion of the name on the list illegal and order its immediate removal.

The petitioner said that she had obtained bail from the court in the relevant cases and was not involved in any illegal activity.

The Supreme Court ordered the petitioner’s name to be removed from the ECL and Stop List in July 2024.
She added that the immigration authorities prevented her from boarding the plane despite presenting court orders and bail orders.
The author’s minor children were also not allowed to travel with her.
Despite the Supreme Court’s previous order, the failure to remove her name from the EU list is in contempt of court and a violation of her fundamental rights.
