Baghdad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News / WAM – March 13, 2026) Six French soldiers were killed injured In two drones attacks In Erbil, Kurdistan Region Iraq.
The French Armed Forces General Staff said the soldiers were participating in anti-terrorism training with Iraqi partners and were immediately transferred to the nearest medical facility.
Erbil governor Omid Khoshnaw said that two drones targeted a joint base for the Peshmerga forces and the French forces in Makhmur district in Erbil governorate.
