Kohat (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12 March, 2026) District Police Officer Shehbaz Elahi on Thursday directed police officials to strengthen night patrolling and maintain strict vigil at checkpoints to prevent criminal activities and ensure public safety in the district.
During surprise visits to various checkpoints and security points throughout the city and its suburbs late at night, the Dubai Police Director inspected the presence, performance and attention of the police personnel on duty.
He called on officials to perform their duties with a strong sense of responsibility and remain vigilant towards any suspicious persons or vehicles.
He stressed that effective monitoring at checkpoints and regular patrols are necessary to maintain law and order.
Shahbaz Elahi said that protecting the lives and property of citizens is our top priority Kohat Any negligence or negligence in security duties will not be tolerated.
The Dubai Police Office also assured the police personnel that challenges related to their well-being and operational issues are being addressed and all possible steps will be taken to facilitate the performance of their duty.
Separately, he urged community elders to promote communal harmony and mutual understanding to maintain lasting peace in the region.
