Nawabshah (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 11 March 2026) Shaheed Benazirabad Attorney General Samir Noor Chana visited Jam Datar Police Station to review security arrangements for a traditional and historical mourning procession. During the visit, the State Security Prosecution inspected the security measures taken and met with police officers and individuals deployed on duty. He reviewed the general situation and stressed that no concessions would be made regarding security arrangements. He directed the officers to ensure strict monitoring at all entry and exit points.
The Public Prosecution instructed all security personnel to remain on maximum alert and continue performing their duties until the funeral procession and gatherings end safely in their designated places.
The SHO concerned and other police officers have been directed to keep in constant touch with the organizers of the procession and be prepared to respond immediately to any untoward incident. The SSP said that protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining religious harmony are the police’s top priorities. He also expressed his appreciation for the dedication and morale of the police personnel deployed to secure the procession, and advised them to carry out their duties with a strong sense of responsibility.
