Faisalabad (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – March 10, 2026) Faisalabad The Development Authority (FDA) has intensified its operations against defaulting housing schemes and closed the offices of three schemes on Millat Road for non-payment of outstanding dues.
The FDA spokesperson said the action was taken after developers of some housing schemes were issued repeated notices to repay their liabilities but they did not heed the FDA’s requests. Therefore, a special team was formed under the supervision of Planning Director Asma Mohsen to launch an effective recovery campaign against defaulters.
During the operation led by estate officer Anib Aslam Randhawa, the FDIC enforcement team contacted the developers of several housing schemes located on Milat Road and asked them to deposit their outstanding dues immediately.
However, when the developers failed to comply and continued to delay payment, the FDA team sealed the offices of three schemes including Kamal Villas, SMD City and JM Valley that were constructed on the land of Chak 121/RB and Chak 196/RB.
He added that developers have also been warned that all pending dues must be deposited immediately in a lump sum, otherwise further legal action will be taken with severe penalties imposed as per the law.
