Larkana (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 10 March, 2026) A meeting of officials from various departments was held at Darbar Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. Larkana On Tuesday, headed by Deputy Commissioner Larkana Dr Sharjeel Noor Channa, arrangements were made for the 47th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister. Pakistan Martyr Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who gave the country its constitution and made Pakistan a nuclear power, has been reviewed and will be celebrated on April 4, 2026.
While addressing the meeting, he said that this meeting is being held on the occasion of April 4 to ensure that people coming to attend the anniversary receive full facilities. In this regard, some institutions will perform their duties inside the shrine, while others will carry out their responsibilities outside it.
He further said that cooperation from the local government, city committees and other institutions is required, and responsibilities have been assigned to them so that negligence does not occur during the anniversary.
He further said that in order to control traffic and ensure proper use of roads for arriving and departing vehicles, responsibilities have been assigned to traffic police and rescue teams. Parking lots are also planned. In addition, gates will be installed for traffic and foolproof security arrangements will be ensured.
He said that the Works and Services Department should also complete road repairs so that there is no difficulty in incoming and outgoing traffic. He also directed the District Roads Department to complete work on the helipad, and instructions in this regard were also issued to Executive Engineer (Roads) Ratodero.
He added during the meeting that water stations will also be set up to provide clean and cold drinking water to people who will attend the anniversary.
He directed SEPCO officials to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the anniversary and arrange backup generators as well. He directed Health Ministry officials to set up a medical camp at the shrine in cooperation with PPHI and ensure availability of doctors and medicines. He also directed forest department officials to assign a team to take care of the plants there. Moreover, district police personnel, guards and special branch will also perform their duties diligently.
On this occasion, Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister Khair Muhammad Sheikh, while addressing the meeting, said that the points raised are very important. However, along with this, the building department should repair the gardens there, and the forest department should also plant more trees. He said that the route of the Cedar Canal must be corrected and the roads running alongside it must be repaired. He said that arrangements for the memorial should be completed and the roads leading to the memorial site, namely Naudero and Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto, should be ensured cleanliness.
He also stressed ensuring the provision of complete health facilities by providing teams of doctors and the necessary medicines.
He further said that due to the heat, proper arrangements should be made to provide water and provide facilities to police and other departmental staff deployed on duty.
While talking to traffic police officials, he said effective arrangements should be made to keep traffic flowing smoothly during the arrival and departure of people attending the anniversary, so that the public does not face any inconvenience. The meeting was attended by senior officers of relevant departments.
