Sui, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5 Mar, 2026) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Khan Bugti on Thursday inaugurated major gas supply projects in Sui, expanding natural gas facilities to several residential colonies and addressing long-term energy shortage faced by local residents.
Under this initiative, gas will be supplied to Tota, Phung and other colonies in Sui City, significantly improving living conditions and providing much-needed relief to the local population.
The officials briefed the Prime Minister on details of the scheme, which includes installation of a six-inch diameter pipeline extending about 2.8 km, enabling gas supply to multiple districts.
Speaking during the ceremony, Bugti said that completion of these projects would significantly reduce the difficulties faced by residents and provide greater comfort in their daily lives.
“Completing gas supply plans in Soi Town colonies will help solve age-old problems faced by local communities and ensure easy access to basic amenities,” he said.
Sarfraz Bugti stressed that the provincial government is giving priority to development projects in backward and remote areas across Balochistan to ensure that basic services reach people at their doorsteps.
He also directed the concerned authorities to maintain high standards and transparency in the implementation of ongoing and future projects so that the public can benefit in a timely and effective manner.
