ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 6 March 2026) The sessions of the National Assembly have been postponed from Friday to Monday at 3 pm due to lack of quorum.

In response, Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah ordered a headcount, after which the House was suspended for a short break to complete a quorum check.

When the proceedings resumed, the Deputy Speaker of Parliament called for a headcount again. Since the situation in the House of Representatives was still unstable, the session was adjourned until Monday at three in the afternoon.
