Dera Murad Jamali (Urdu Point / Pakistan Point News – 6 Mar, 2026) Three suspected robbers were injured and arrested during an alleged police encounter on the national highway in Dera Allah Yar in Jafarabad district, police said on Thursday.
According to Jaffarabad police, the accident occurred near Manzur Khusu gasoline The pump, where unknown gunmen kidnapped a citizen’s motorcycle and tried to escape.
Upon receiving the information, a team from Dera Allah Yar Police Station rushed to the scene. The suspects allegedly opened fire on the police on sight, prompting the police to respond.
During the exchange of gunfire, all three suspects were injured and arrested by police.
Police identified the injured suspects as Asghar Khakhrani, Ehsan Lashari and Wahid Abro. They were transferred to the Regional Headquarters Hospital in Dera Allah Yar to receive treatment.
The police also found the motorcycle stolen from the suspects, while investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
Police officials said that operations against criminal elements in the area will continue to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
